Gretsch Limited Pro Penguin Champagne Sparkle w/case

The Gretsch Limited Edition Penguin with String-Thru Bigsby takes one of the brand’s most recognizable solidbody designs and gives it a rare Champagne Sparkle finish with a sharp black-and-gold visual package. It has the deluxe look Penguin players expect, but the real appeal is the blend of chambered construction, TV Jones pickups, and a String-Thru Bigsby built for a wide range of Gretsch tones.

The chambered mahogany body is paired with an arched laminated maple top, giving the guitar a lively feel with added harmonic detail and attack from the maple. The Champagne Sparkle finish is matched with aged white binding, gold hardware, a black plexi Penguin pickguard, jeweled G-Arrow knobs, and a gold winged Gretsch logo for a look that is unmistakably Penguin.

The mahogany set neck features a Standard U profile, 24.6" scale length, 12" radius ebony fingerboard, and 22 medium-jumbo frets. Mother-of-pearl Neo-Classic Thumbnail inlays, aged white binding, Luminlay side dots, and a bone nut complete the neck.

A TV Jones TV Classic neck pickup and TV Classic Plus bridge pickup give this Penguin the clear, punchy Filter’Tron response players expect, with added push from the bridge position. Individual pickup volumes, master volume, master no-load tone control, and a 3-way toggle provide a familiar Gretsch control layout with plenty of range.

Gold hardware includes an Adjusto-Matic bridge with pinned ebony base, Bigsby B3GP String-Thru vibrato tailpiece, and Grover Imperial locking tuners. A Gretsch deluxe solidbody hardshell case is included.
