The Ibanez A527IPT A Alpha Series is a modern seven-string built around a multi-scale design that balances extended-range definition with a comfortable feel across the neck. Its American basswood body is paired with a five-piece maple/walnut Parallel Wizard AS neck, while the ebony fingerboard, 24 jumbo stainless steel frets, and 25.5"–27.2" scale range provide a precise platform for technical playing, heavy rhythm work, and extended-range voicings.

A pair of Fishman Fluence Modern 8-string humbuckers handles the electronics, with an Alnico model at the neck and Ceramic model at the bridge. The individual Mono-rail G2 bridge system complements the multi-scale layout, while the factory .009–.059 string set and standard low-B seven-string tuning make the A527IPT ready for a broad range of contemporary playing styles.
