About This Guitar
The Jackson Limited Edition Legend Series Signature Scott Ian Rhoads RR22 NOT recreates one of the most recognizable guitars from Anthrax's early years. Inspired by the custom Jackson Rhoads played by Scott Ian throughout the band's 1980s recording and touring era, this limited-edition model features the unmistakable "NOT" graphics across its Pearl White body. With neck-through construction, a Seymour Duncan JB humbucker, and a Floyd Rose double-locking tremolo, the RR22 NOT stays true to the aggressive design and straightforward electronics of Ian's original instrument.
The alder body is paired with a three-piece maple neck that runs through the body for consistent sustain and upper-fret access. Graphite reinforcement adds stability, while the gloss color-matched neck finish maintains the instrument's distinctive appearance. The ebony fingerboard features a 12"–16" compound radius, 22 jumbo frets, and pearloid sharkfin inlays. Its 25.5" scale length and compound-radius fingerboard provide a comfortable playing surface for fast rhythm work, lead runs, and string bending.
A single Seymour Duncan JB TB-4 humbucker in the bridge position provides the guitar's high-output sound. Known for its pronounced midrange and articulate attack, the JB is well suited to the tight palm-muted rhythms and aggressive picking associated with Ian's playing. A single volume control keeps the electronics direct and uncomplicated, without additional pickup switching.
The Floyd Rose double-locking tremolo provides pitch control while helping maintain tuning stability, complemented by a Floyd Rose R3 locking nut and Jackson sealed die-cast tuning machines. Chrome hardware, a pointed Jackson six-in-line headstock, and the signature "NOT" graphics across the front and sides complete the recreation. A Jackson foam core case is included.
