Jackson Pro Series Signature Phil Collen PC1-E Ebony Worn Black w/case

Phil Collen’s relationship with Jackson dates back to 1986, and the Pro Series Signature PC1-E carries forward the distinctive design of his long-running PC1 Dinky. This version combines a genuine mahogany body with a distressed Worn Black nitrocellulose lacquer finish and gold hardware, giving the guitar a deliberately aged appearance that fits the PC1’s high-performance design.

The one-piece caramelized maple neck is reinforced with dual graphite rods and finished with oil for a natural playing feel. Its ebony fingerboard uses Jackson’s 12"-16" compound radius, flattening out toward the upper register, with 24 jumbo frets and a single pearloid sharkfin inlay at the 12th fret. Luminlay side dots, a heel-mounted truss rod adjustment wheel and Floyd Rose locking nut complete the neck setup.

The HSS pickup configuration is built around a DiMarzio X2N humbucker at the bridge and DiMarzio Sugar Chakra pickup in the middle position. A push-pull volume control splits the bridge humbucker for additional single-coil sounds, while a five-way blade handles conventional pickup selection.

At the neck is the PC1 Sustainer Driver, powered by Jackson’s 18-volt Sustainer System. Dedicated intensity, on/off and Fundamental/Harmonic/Blend controls allow sustained notes to be shaped independently of the standard pickup controls. A recessed Floyd Rose 1000 Series double-locking tremolo and Jackson sealed die-cast locking tuners round out a hardware package designed for Collen’s demanding playing style.
