Jam Pedals Wahcko V2 Wah Pedal

The JAM Pedals Wahcko V2 builds on a wah design that has been part of the JAM lineup since 2008, retaining its player-responsive approach while adding greater control over the pedal’s sweep and response. At its core is a custom JAM inductor inspired by the vintage TDK inductors used in classic 1960s Cry Baby and Vox wah circuits.

A six-position SWEEP rotary control provides six distinct frequency ranges, allowing the pedal’s operating range to be matched to different instruments, amplifiers and playing styles. This external control is complemented by two internal trimmers for more detailed adjustment.

The internal input-gain trimmer carries over from the original Wahcko, while the V2 adds an internal Q trimmer for adjusting the character and intensity of the wah response. Both trimmers are set to approximately 12 o’clock by default, providing a reference point when experimenting with different settings.

Internal DIP switches allow the Wahcko V2 to operate in dedicated guitar or bass modes, extending its usefulness to lower-register instruments. Battery operation also returns on this version, giving players an additional powering option.
