Named after the Italian word “Volante” (meaning “flying” or “light”), this model lives up to its name. It’s built for speed and effortless movement, with a lightweight alder body, sleek comfort contours, and performance-driven design details throughout.

The three-piece thermally aged maple neck features Kramer’s fast Elliptical “C” profile and a maple fretboard with 24 jumbo frets, black dot inlays, and a 10"–14" compound radius. The neck is bolted on with five ferrule-mounted bolts and sculpted for easy upper fret access. Kramer’s Key Lock neck joint system, developed by Senior Product Engineer Richard Akers, dramatically enhances neck stability, tonal transfer, and sustain.

The body-end spoke wheel truss rod adjustment allows quick tweaks on the fly, and the 25.5” scale length is ideal for alternate tunings. A Graph Tech® TUSQ® XL nut and Kramer locking die-cast tuners keep things tight, even with aggressive use of the two-point tremolo system.

Under the hood, you’ll find a powerful Kramer USA Neptune™ humbucker in the bridge and a Triton™ noiseless single-coil in the neck.
