About This Guitar
The Martin 00L-16E 1935 Burst brings a warm, intimate voice to the refreshed 16 Series, pairing a compact sloped-shoulder body with all-solid tonewoods and vintage-inspired appointments. Its gloss spruce top is finished in a distinctive 1935 Burst and matched with satin solid mahogany back and sides, producing a woody, focused response with punchy mids, strong treble presence, and a controlled low end. Scalloped 1/4" X-bracing adds resonance and sustain while retaining the quick response that suits fingerstyle, songwriting, and expressive rhythm playing.
A 24.9" scale Modified Low Oval neck with High Performance Taper keeps the playing feel comfortable, while an ebony fingerboard and bridge add familiar Martin appointments. L.R. Baggs Element electronics provide a straightforward amplified voice for stage or recording use, and the guitar comes strung with Martin Era Treated Legacy Medium strings. A softshell case is included.
