This Martin Custom Shop 18 Style OM was designed by Tone Shop Guitars, with all woods selected by our Custom Shop experts at the Martin factory in Nazareth, PA. Built with an Adirondack spruce top and Sinker mahogany back and sides, this custom OM blends classic 18-style simplicity with premium wood selection and a more refined Custom Shop spec.

The Adirondack spruce top gives this guitar headroom, clarity, and dynamic range, while the Sinker mahogany back and sides add warmth, dryness, and a strong fundamental voice. It’s a great pairing for players who want the balance and comfort of an OM with a little extra power and depth under the right hand.

The 000/OM Auditorium body keeps the response focused and even, making this guitar a strong choice for fingerstyle, flatpicking, vocal accompaniment, and recording. Adirondack spruce scalloped X-bracing with Golden Era hand shaping helps the guitar feel open and responsive while keeping the note attack clean and defined.

The neck features a Modified V profile with High Performance Taper, a 1 3/4" nut width, and a black ebony fingerboard with long diamonds and squares inlays. The 25.4" scale length and 2 5/32" string spacing give the guitar a familiar OM feel with enough room for more detailed right-hand work.

Appointments include brown faux tortoise binding, Old Style 18 Boltaron rosette, faux tortoise pickguard, black ebony bridge and headplate, CFM block headplate inlay, Grover nickel StaTite tuners with vintage buttons, Aging Toner top, gloss body, satin neck, polished headplate, and a 5-ply hardshell case.
