This Martin Custom Shop 18 Style OM was designed by Tone Shop Guitars and built around a set of Sinker mahogany selected for this custom run. Paired with an Adirondack spruce top, the result is a refined 18-style OM with a dry, warm fundamental, strong projection, and the wider dynamic range that makes Adirondack such a great fit for this body shape.

The 000/OM Auditorium body keeps the response balanced and focused, making this a strong choice for fingerstyle, flatpicking, recording, and vocal accompaniment. The Adirondack top gives the guitar plenty of headroom and clarity, while the Sinker mahogany back and sides bring warmth, directness, and a woody character that feels right at home in an 18-style build.

Adirondack spruce scalloped X-bracing with Golden Era hand shaping helps this OM feel open and responsive without losing control. The long 25.4" scale length adds a little extra snap and definition, while the 2 5/32" string spacing leaves plenty of room for detailed right-hand work.

The neck features a Modified V profile with High Performance Taper, a 1 3/4" nut width, and a black ebony fingerboard with long diamonds and squares inlays. Brown faux tortoise binding, an Old Style 18 Boltaron rosette, faux tortoise pickguard, black ebony bridge and headplate, CFM block inlay, and Grover nickel StaTite tuners complete the build.
