This Martin Custom Shop 28/45 Style 000 was handpicked and designed by Tone Shop Guitars in collaboration with the Martin Custom Shop. Built with an Adirondack spruce top and Cocobolo back and sides, this custom 000 brings together a comfortable auditorium body, premium tonewoods, and elevated Style 45 appointments in a guitar that feels both refined and highly expressive.

The Cocobolo back and sides are a major part of the story here. Visually, they give this build a rich, dramatic look with a level of depth and color that immediately separates it from a standard rosewood 000. Tonally, Cocobolo is known for strong projection, clarity, and complex overtones, making it a powerful pairing with the headroom and response of an Adirondack spruce top.

The 000/OM Auditorium body keeps the voice focused and immediate, with a short 24.9" scale length that adds a comfortable feel under the hands. Adirondack spruce bracing, scalloped Golden Era hand shaping, and a black ebony bridge help give the guitar a lively, responsive character that works beautifully for fingerstyle, flatpicking, strumming, and recording.

The neck features a GE Modified Low Oval profile with High Performance Taper, a 1 3/4" nut width, and a black ebony fingerboard with Style 45 Hexagon inlays. A Cocobolo headplate with CFM block inlay ties the custom wood selection into the headstock, while the Style 45 Boltaron rosette with select abalone, herringbone top inlay, antique white binding, and faux tortoise pickguard complete the look.
