This Martin Custom Shop 28/45 Style OM pairs an Adirondack spruce top with a Tone Shop-selected set of Wild Grain East Indian rosewood back and sides. Built from an OM-28-inspired foundation, it combines traditional Style 28 herringbone appointments with select Style 45 details for a more elevated Custom Shop presentation.

The Adirondack spruce top is supported by forward-shifted, scalloped 1/4" Golden Era X-bracing, also made from Adirondack spruce and hand-shaped by Martin. Herringbone top trim, antique white binding, a faux tortoise pickguard, and a Style 45 rosette in select abalone give the top its distinctive 28/45 character.

The Wild Grain East Indian rosewood was selected by Tone Shop Guitars and is used for the back and sides as well as the headplate. Its more dramatic grain pattern gives this OM a visual character well beyond a typical straight-grained East Indian rosewood set.

The select hardwood neck uses a Modified V profile with High Performance Taper and a 25.4" scale length. A black ebony fingerboard features a 16" radius, 1 3/4" bone nut, 2 5/32" string spacing, and long Diamonds and Squares inlays in abalone. The Wild Grain East Indian rosewood headplate is finished with a select abalone C.F. Martin block inlay.

A black ebony GE Modern Belly bridge, compensated bone saddle, bone bridge pins with paua accents, and Grover nickel Sta-Tite 18:1 tuners complete the build. A Martin 5-ply hardshell case and Custom Shop Credentials Book are included.
