This Martin Custom Shop dreadnought was built for Tone Shop Guitars using premium materials and traditional construction methods. The Adirondack spruce top with Martin’s VTS treatment delivers strong headroom, quick response, and the kind of projection players expect from a dreadnought platform. Paired with premium cocobolo back and sides, the guitar produces deep low-end power, articulate mids, and shimmering overtones while maintaining clarity across the dynamic range.

Forward-shifted Golden Era scalloped Adirondack bracing enhances resonance and responsiveness, giving the instrument a lively feel under the pick or fingers. The build is completed with vintage-inspired appointments including fine herringbone trim, diamonds and squares fingerboard inlays, and Grover StaTite tuners, all tied together with a traditional dovetail neck joint and vintage hide glue construction.
