Designed by Tone Shop Guitars and brought to life by the Martin Custom Shop, this exclusive 28 Style Dreadnought is the result of our team's visit to the Martin factory, where we personally selected the tonewoods and specifications for the build. Starting with the timeless foundation of an HD-28, we elevated it with premium materials and Golden Era appointments to create a dreadnought that offers exceptional headroom, warmth, and dynamic range.

An Adirondack spruce top is paired with hand-selected Wild Grain East Indian rosewood back and sides, producing a bold, articulate voice with outstanding projection and complexity. Forward-shifted, Golden Era hand-shaped scalloped Adirondack bracing gives the guitar remarkable responsiveness while maintaining the powerful low end and rich overtones expected from a great rosewood dreadnought.

A GE Modified Low Oval neck with High Performance Taper offers a comfortable, modern playing experience, while traditional details like herringbone top trim, diamonds and squares long-pattern abalone inlays, ebony fingerboard and bridge, aging toner, and vintage-style Grover StaTite tuners complete a build that feels every bit as refined as it sounds. This is a true Tone Shop exclusive, built from woods we hand-selected alongside the craftsmen at Martin.
