Overview

This Martin Custom Shop dreadnought was built for Tone Shop Guitars using premium tonewoods and traditional Martin construction. The Adirondack spruce VTS top delivers strong headroom, clarity, and dynamic response, while the exceptional broad figure koa back and sides add warmth, visual depth, and complex overtones. The combination creates a powerful dreadnought voice with articulate highs, strong mids, and a clear, focused low end.

Forward-shifted Golden Era scalloped Adirondack bracing enhances responsiveness and projection, giving the guitar a lively feel under both fingerstyle and flatpicking. Vintage hide glue construction and a traditional dovetail neck joint contribute to the instrument’s resonance and responsiveness. Appointments such as herringbone trim and Maltese snowflake fingerboard inlays provide a distinctive take on classic Style 28 aesthetics.
