This Martin Custom Shop 28 Style OM was designed by Tone Shop Guitars, with the Wild Grain East Indian rosewood selected by our team for this build. It pairs that exceptional rosewood with an Adirondack spruce top, forward-shifted Golden Era bracing, and a classic 28-style OM foundation.

The Adirondack spruce top gives this guitar headroom, clarity, and a strong dynamic response, while the Wild Grain East Indian rosewood back and sides add depth, sustain, and rich harmonic detail. The OM body keeps everything balanced and focused, making it a great fit for fingerstyle, flatpicking, recording, and vocal accompaniment.

Adirondack spruce scalloped X-bracing with Golden Era hand shaping gives the guitar an open, responsive feel, while the forward-shifted pattern helps bring added warmth and movement to the top. The 25.4" scale length and 2 5/32" string spacing keep the feel familiar for players who want a traditional long-scale OM setup.

The neck features a GE Modified Low Oval profile with High Performance Taper, a 1 3/4" nut width, and a black ebony fingerboard with long diamonds and squares inlays. The Wild Grain East Indian rosewood headplate, bold herringbone top inlay, Style 28 Boltaron rosette, antique white binding, faux tortoise pickguard, and Grover nickel StaTite tuners complete the build.
