This Martin Custom Shop 28 Style Slope Shoulder Dreadnought pairs an Adirondack spruce top with a Tone Shop-selected set of Wild Grain East Indian rosewood back and sides. The slope-shoulder body gives this custom build a distinctive silhouette while traditional Style 28 appointments keep it unmistakably Martin.

The Adirondack spruce top is supported by forward-shifted, scalloped 5/16" Golden Era X-bracing, also made from Adirondack spruce and hand-shaped by Martin. Aging Toner, herringbone top trim, antique white binding, a Style 28 rosette, and faux tortoise pickguard complete the traditional presentation.

Wild Grain East Indian rosewood continues onto the headplate, tying the visual centerpiece of the build together. The select hardwood neck uses Martin’s GE Modified Low Oval profile with High Performance Taper and a 25.4" scale length.

A black ebony fingerboard features a 16" radius, 1 3/4" bone nut, 2 5/32" string spacing, and long Diamonds and Squares inlays in select abalone. The combination keeps the neck dimensions familiar and versatile while retaining classic Custom Shop detailing.

A black ebony GE Modern Belly bridge, compensated bone saddle, bone pins with faux tortoise accents, and Grover nickel Sta-Tite 18:1 tuners finish the build. A Martin 5-ply hardshell case and Custom Shop Credentials Book are included.
