Martin Custom Shop 41 Style Dread Adirondack/Pacific Big Leaf Flamed Maple w/case 3090369

Serial: 3090369

This Martin Custom Shop 41 Style Dreadnought was designed around a Tone Shop-selected set of Pacific Big Leaf flamed maple, paired with an Adirondack spruce top and an impressive mix of traditional Martin appointments. The dramatic maple back and sides give this build a completely different visual identity from the rosewood typically associated with Style 41.

The Adirondack spruce top is supported by forward-shifted, scalloped 5/16" Golden Era X-bracing, also made from Adirondack spruce and hand-shaped by Martin. Abalone pearl runs around the top perimeter and through the Style 45 rosette, while antique white binding and a faux tortoise pickguard keep the overall presentation rooted in classic Martin design.

Pacific Big Leaf flamed maple is used for the back and sides, finished in Trans Walnut to emphasize the figure and contrast against the clear Adirondack top. The back receives Style 45 mosaic purfling, adding another elevated detail without pushing the guitar into full Style 45 territory.

The genuine mahogany neck uses Martin’s GE Modified Low Oval profile with High Performance Taper and a 25.4" scale. A bound black ebony fingerboard features a 16" radius, 1 3/4" bone nut, 2 5/32" string spacing, and Style 45 Reduced Hexagon inlays in select abalone. A bound black ebony headplate with select abalone C.F. Martin block inlay completes the neck presentation.

A black ebony GE Modern Belly bridge, compensated bone saddle, bone bridge pins with paua accents, and gold Grover Sta-Tite 18:1 tuners complete the build. A Martin 5-ply hardshell case and Custom Shop Credentials Book are included.
