About This Guitar

This Martin Custom Shop OM was built exclusively for Tone Shop Guitars and combines classic Style 42 aesthetics with carefully selected premium tonewoods. The Italian Alpine spruce top is paired with cocobolo back and sides, producing a clear, responsive voice with strong note separation, rich overtones, and excellent dynamic range. Adirondack spruce Golden Era scalloped bracing enhances projection and responsiveness while maintaining the balanced tonal character associated with the OM body shape.

Visually, the guitar blends refined appointments with Custom Shop craftsmanship. European flamed maple binding frames the body, while Style 45 abalone pearl surrounds the top and rosette. The ebony fingerboard features an alternate torch inlay motif in select abalone, echoed in the bridge and headstock details. A genuine mahogany neck with a GE Modified Low Oval profile and High Performance taper provides a comfortable modern feel while retaining a classic Martin character.
