This Martin Custom Shop M/0000 42 Style brings together a powerful Adirondack spruce top, Tone Shop-selected Pacific Big Leaf flamed maple back and sides, and an Ambertone 1933 finish in one highly detailed Custom Shop build. The M/0000 Grand Auditorium body gives the guitar a broad, balanced voice with more air and presence than a smaller OM-style body while staying more focused than a dreadnought.

The Adirondack spruce top is supported by forward-shifted Adirondack spruce X-bracing with Golden Era hand shaping, giving the guitar strong headroom, projection, and a lively response under the right hand. The Pacific Big Leaf flamed maple back and sides add visual depth, quickness, and clarity, making this a striking option for players who want a big, articulate Custom Shop acoustic with a different personality than rosewood or mahogany.

The appointment package is a major part of the appeal. Select abalone top pearl runs around the perimeter with the fingerboard profile, while the Style 45 Boltaron rosette, Style 45 mosaic back purfling, European flamed maple binding, and Ambertone 1933 finish give the guitar an elevated Custom Shop look from every angle.

The flamed maple two-piece neck features Martin’s GE Modified Low Oval profile with High Performance Taper, paired with a Guatemalan rosewood fingerboard, 1 3/4" bone nut, and Style 45 hexagon select abalone inlays. The Pacific Big Leaf flamed maple headplate is bound and finished with a select abalone CFM block inlay, tying the full build together beautifully.

Gold Grover StaTite tuners, a Guatemalan rosewood GE Modern Belly bridge, compensated bone saddle, bone pins with Paua dots, and a 5-ply hardshell case complete this exceptional Martin Custom Shop piece.
