The Martin Custom Shop OM-45 De Luxe 1930 is a tribute to one of Martin’s most ornate prewar designs, pairing a VTS Adirondack spruce top with Guatemalan rosewood back and sides and full Style 45 appointments. Built exclusively for Martin Custom Shop Expert dealers, it brings together historically inspired construction, premium tonewoods, and some of Martin’s most elaborate decorative work.

The Adirondack spruce top receives Martin’s Vintage Tone System treatment and is paired with VTS-treated Authentic scalloped Adirondack spruce X-bracing. Traditional hide glue construction and Martin’s Thin Finish Gloss package further push the build toward a vintage-inspired approach, while the 25.4" scale maintains the familiar response of a long-scale OM.

Guatemalan rosewood is used for the back and sides, surrounded by extensive abalone inlay across the top, back, and sides. A floral-inlaid faux tortoise pickguard sits beneath the finish, adding one of the model’s most distinctive visual details.

The genuine mahogany neck uses Martin’s Authentic 1930 profile and carries an ebony fingerboard with Style 45 Snowflake inlays. A 1 3/4" nut width gives the guitar traditional OM proportions, while the torch-inlaid headplate and gold Waverly open-back tuners complete the prewar-inspired presentation.

An ebony bridge and bone saddle round out the acoustic hardware. The guitar is supplied without electronics and includes a Martin hardshell case.
