Martin DSS-16E Cherry Cola w/softshell case

The DSS-16E Cherry Cola pairs Martin’s sloped-shoulder Dreadnought body with a short 24.9" scale, a combination introduced with the refreshed 16 Series. Its spruce top receives a gloss Cherry Cola finish, while solid mahogany back and sides are finished in satin for a distinct contrast in both color and texture.

Forward-shifted scalloped X-bracing supports the spruce top, while the shorter scale gives this full-size Dreadnought a different feel from Martin’s traditional long-scale designs. The select hardwood neck uses a Modified Low Oval profile and satin finish, paired with an ebony fingerboard, 1 3/4" nut width and 1955 Style 18 inlays.

The Cherry Cola finish is complemented by a distinctive grained ivoroid pickguard. An ebony bridge, TUSQ saddle and nickel open-gear tuners keep the remaining appointments traditional and straightforward.

L.R. Baggs Element electronics provide a simple onboard solution for amplified use without changing the guitar’s clean acoustic presentation. A softshell case is included.
