Martin Grand J-16E 12 String w/softshell case

The Martin Grand J-16E 12 String brings the scale and projection of a 17" Grand Jumbo into a more manageable 000-depth body. It delivers the unmistakable shimmer and layered character of a 12-string while keeping the body comfortable enough for extended playing.

A gloss spruce top with vintage tint is paired with solid East Indian rosewood back and sides finished in satin. Non-scalloped X-bracing provides the structural support and balance needed across all twelve strings, while the shallower body depth keeps the instrument from feeling oversized.

The select hardwood neck uses a 25.4" scale length with an ebony fingerboard and a 1 13/16" nut width. Style 28 fingerboard inlays give it a traditional Martin look without adding unnecessary ornamentation.

For amplified use, Martin equips the Grand J-16E 12 String with an L.R. Baggs Element pickup system, making it ready for live performance or recording without adding complicated onboard controls.

Nickel open-gear tuners, an ebony bridge, TUSQ saddle, and faux tortoise pickguard complete the package. A Martin softshell case is included.
