Built as a meticulous recreation of an early pre-war Orchestra Model, the Martin OM-28 Authentic 1931 combines an Adirondack spruce VTS top with Madagascar rosewood back and sides and historically inspired Authentic Series construction throughout.

The Adirondack spruce top is supported by VTS-treated Adirondack bracing using Martin’s Authentic 1931 scalloped X-brace pattern with 5/16" braces and 1/4" tone bars. A traditional dovetail neck joint and hide-glue construction further connect the build to Martin’s pre-war methods.

The genuine mahogany neck features Martin’s Authentic 1931 profile and Standard Taper, paired with a 25.4" scale length and 1-3/4" bone nut. An ebony fingerboard carries Golden Era-style short-pattern Diamonds and Squares inlays in abalone.

Classic Style 28 appointments include fine herringbone top inlay, grained ivoroid binding, an Authentic zig-zag backstrip, tortoise-pattern pickguard, and Vintage Gloss finish. An ebony Authentic Belly bridge with a long bone saddle and nickel open-gear tuners complete the vintage-inspired package.

This 2015 example is offered as B-Stock and comes with the full Martin Limited Lifetime Warranty. A hardshell case is included.
