A three-piece back of black walnut with a flamed American white oak wedge is matched with solid white oak sides and an FSC-certified European spruce top. The skeletonized GE scalloped X-bracing reduces mass to increase sustain and dynamic range, allowing the tonal character of the walnut and oak combination to come through clearly.
