MXR Mr. TalkBox Signature Talk Box

Overview

The MXR Mr. TalkBox Signature Talk Box was developed in collaboration with Grammy-recognized artist Byron “Mr. TalkBox” Chambers, whose distinctive talk box work has appeared across gospel, funk, R&B, and pop music. Designed as a professional-grade solution for both keyboardists and guitarists, the Mr. TalkBox Signature combines increased power and headroom with expanded control for shaping an expressive, articulate talk box sound.

At its core is a lightweight neodymium driver designed to produce a thick, full low end without adding unnecessary weight. A powerful 25-watt amplifier provides increased headroom and improved dynamic response, helping individual notes retain definition and articulation while responding naturally to playing dynamics.

Dedicated Volume, Tone, and Gain controls provide hands-on control over the response and character of the effect, while a Gain Bypass switch helps accommodate hotter input signals. Designed to work equally well on a pedalboard or desktop setup, the Mr. TalkBox Signature includes an 18V power supply, 8-foot tube, and microphone stand clip for a complete stage- and studio-ready package.
