Built by Powers Electric in collaboration with Andy Powers, the A-Type blends boutique craftsmanship, thoughtful ergonomics, and a uniquely responsive voice that sits somewhere between vintage-inspired clarity and modern refinement.

This Graphite Metallic example leans into a darker, more industrial visual aesthetic with black-plated hardware, black pickup covers, a black pickguard, and dark fingerboard treatment throughout. The CamTail bridge system gives the guitar a more elastic, musical feel under the picking hand compared to a traditional hardtail, while the Delrin saddle contributes to the smooth attack and balanced top-end response the A-Type platform is known for.

Loaded with FF42 pickups, this build delivers a more open, articulate voice with strong note separation and excellent dynamic response. It’s a guitar that reacts quickly to touch and cleans up exceptionally well without ever feeling sterile.
