The PRS Dany Villarreal Astryx Limited Edition takes the Custom 24 platform and gives it a distinct identity built around Villarreal’s first signature model. Limited to just 200 guitars for 2026, this 10-Top example features the exclusive Ocaso Sunset finish, custom Solecito fretboard inlay, Dany Villarreal truss rod cover, and an autographed backplate.

The foundation is classic Core Custom 24 construction: a carved figured maple 10-Top over a mahogany back with a high-gloss nitro finish. The Ocaso fade moves through purple, pink, orange, and yellow, while the celestial theme continues onto the ebony fingerboard with the custom Solecito—or “little sun”—inlay featuring paua, gold, and mother-of-pearl details.

Its one-piece mahogany neck uses PRS’s Pattern Thin profile, a 25" scale length, 10" fingerboard radius, and 24 frets. The ebony fingerboard is a notable departure from the standard Custom 24 formula and is one of the defining functional details of the Astryx.

A pair of PRS DMO humbuckers is controlled by a master volume, master tone, and 5-way blade switch. The switching provides full humbucker combinations along with split-coil pairings in positions two and four, giving the Astryx the familiar versatility of the current Core Custom 24 electronics package.

PRS completes the build with a Gen III patented tremolo, Phase III locking tuners, hybrid hardware, and PRS Signature 10–46 strings. A PRS ATA Multi-Fit molded case is included.
