Inspired by a vintage 1953 guitar from Paul Reed Smith’s personal collection, the PRS NF 53 takes a familiar bolt-on formula and approaches it with distinctly PRS construction, hardware, and electronics.

The swamp ash body is finished in a wild charcoal to raspberry sparkle burst, which moves a ton against the light. It's rad. A bolt-on maple neck and matching maple fingerboard keep the look clean and traditional, while PRS’s Pattern 53 neck carve and 25.5" scale give the guitar its own feel within the PRS lineup.

A pair of Narrowfield DD pickups is at the center of the NF 53. Their taller “Deep Dish” bobbins allow for additional winds, while the mixed magnet and steel pole-piece construction is designed to deliver focused output, clear highs, and strong low end without traditional single-coil hum. Controls stay deliberately simple with one volume, one tone, and a three-way blade switch.

A steel PRS plate-style bridge with brass saddles, bone nut, and Phase III non-locking tuners with wing buttons complete the hardware package.

A PRS Premium Gig Bag is included.
