About This Guitar

Built to celebrate 30 years of PRS Private Stock, the “Birds of a Feather” Hollowbody I is a limited-run instrument that blends high-level luthiery with intentional artistic design. This model introduces TCI pickups into a hollowbody platform for the first time, delivering a voice that is full and articulate with a surprising level of clarity and responsiveness. Combined with the natural resonance of the Hollowbody I construction and the added flexibility of mini-toggle EQ switches, this is a highly expressive instrument that moves easily between warm, open tones and more focused, high-end clarity. Limited to just 96 pieces worldwide, this is as much a collector-level build as it is a serious player’s guitar.
