This PRS Select Wood Library McCarty 594 Trem is a special build: a McCarty 594 with a Gen III Tremolo, giving the classic 594 platform a more expressive feel than the usual fixed-bridge format. Finished in Laguna over a 10 Top flame maple top, it has the depth, figure, and stage-ready look that make a great Wood Library guitar stand out immediately.

The top is a hand-selected 10 Top flame maple paired with a mahogany back, giving this guitar the familiar maple-over-mahogany foundation that has long defined the McCarty voice. The Laguna finish brings out the movement in the top while keeping the overall look bold, clean, and distinctly PRS.

The mahogany neck is paired with a bound East Indian rosewood fingerboard and upgraded “Outline Old School Birds” inlays featuring Sparkle Mother of Pearl outlines with Pink Heart centers. It is a detailed, custom-level inlay package that gives the guitar a unique visual identity without feeling overdone.

A set of McCarty III Treble and Bass pickups powers the electronics, using the McCarty 594 control layout: two volume controls, two push/pull tone controls, and a 3-way toggle on the upper bout. That gives the guitar a wide range of humbucking and split-coil tones while keeping the layout familiar and easy to control.

The Gen III Tremolo is what really separates this build from a standard McCarty 594. It adds smooth vibrato capability and a different playing feel while keeping the core 594 character intact. Hybrid hardware completes the look, and a case is included.
