PRS Silver Sky Defender Limited Edition Arles Blue

The PRS Silver Sky Defender Limited Edition in Arles Blue traces the collection directly to John Mayer’s own Defender. The heritage color from Mayer’s vintage 4x4 became the starting point for the four-finish series, with only 500 U.S.-made Silver Sky guitars produced in each color worldwide. A matching Arles Blue headstock and color-specific neck plate engraved “1 of 500” distinguish the limited-edition build.

The solid alder body has a flat top and high-gloss nitro finish, with white plastics providing the Defender-inspired contrast used throughout the heritage collection. A maple 635 JM-R bolt-on neck is paired with a rosewood fingerboard, 7.25" radius, 22 PRS medium frets and Small Bird inlays.

Three PRS 635JM single-coils provide the electronics, with one volume, two tone controls and a five-way blade selector. The PRS Steel Tremolo incorporates Gen III knife-edge screws and PRS's tremolo arm design, while vintage-style locking tuners combine a traditional appearance with PRS locking hardware.

The Defender collaboration extends beyond the finish with a matching painted headstock, unique Arles Blue “1 of 500” neck plate and an included PRS ATA molded case carrying a custom Defender badge.
