The Billy Corgan Signature Drop Z Infinite Sadness Edition combines the visual identity of Corgan’s Z-One signature model with a 26.25" scale designed specifically for lower tunings. The extended scale increases string tension when tuned down, helping maintain definition and a more familiar playing response. This Infinite Sadness Edition is finished in Black Sparkle for a distinctive variation on the Drop Z platform.

The solid alder body is paired with a roasted maple neck and roasted maple fingerboard. Its Medium Oval neck profile, 24 frets and 26.25" scale create a purpose-built setup for extended-range playing without moving to a traditional baritone-length instrument. A 41mm Boneite nut and dual-action truss rod with headstock access complete the neck specifications.

Railhammer Billy Corgan Z-One pickups are used in both the bridge and neck positions. Designed around Corgan’s signature platform, the pair provides the higher-output foundation of the Drop Z, with a three-way selector and Reverend’s Bass Contour control supplementing the conventional volume and tone controls.

A hardtail bridge keeps the setup straightforward and stable for alternate tunings, while Reverend Pin-Lock tuners provide secure stringing. The guitar comes equipped with .011-.049 strings, and Reverend’s two-tone Baritone Teardrop case is available separately.
