The Reverend Prototype Matt West Wiz 1 is a stripped-down, high-output rock machine built for aggressive performance and uncompromising simplicity. Designed in collaboration with pop punk guitarist Matt West, this prototype model features a radical reverse body shape paired with Reverend’s signature lightweight korina construction for exceptional balance, resonance, and stage-ready attitude.

Built around a single uncovered Reverend HCL bridge pickup, the Wiz 1 delivers thick, harmonically rich distortion tones with tight lows and cutting attack. A large ceramic magnet drives powerful output and focused articulation, making this guitar ideal for punchy rhythm work, saturated lead tones, and high-energy live performance. The streamlined single-volume layout keeps operation simple and direct, while the TOM bridge and stop tailpiece provide excellent sustain and tuning stability.

Finished in Ice White, the Wiz 1 pairs modern aggressive styling with minimalist functionality and Reverend performance.
