The Stripy Sinker Redwood top brings a played-in, broken-in character right out of the case, with a fast, sensitive response and a wide dynamic range. Paired with Bocote back and sides, the voice stays articulate and focused, with crisp definition and a strong midrange that works equally well for fingerstyle and strumming.

V-Class bracing adds projection, sustain, and improved intonation across the fingerboard, while the Venetian cutaway and beveled armrest make this a comfortable, player-first instrument for long sessions. Rosewood binding and a bound soundhole keep the look refined without overdoing it, and the Mini Diamond pearl inlays give a subtle nod to classic Taylor Custom styling. Plugged in, the Expression System 2 captures the natural acoustic voice with clarity and balance.
