This Taylor Custom Builder’s Edition Grand Auditorium was designed by Tone Shop Guitars, with the Sitka spruce top and Big Leaf maple back and sides selected by our team at the Taylor Guitars factory. It brings together Taylor’s player-focused Builder’s Edition platform, a carefully chosen maple set, and a striking Dark Antique Blond top over Wild Honey Burst back, sides, and neck.

The Sitka spruce top gives the guitar a clear, balanced response, while the Big Leaf maple back and sides add a fast attack, focused low end, and plenty of note separation. The Grand Auditorium body keeps the feel comfortable and versatile, making this an excellent all-around acoustic for fingerstyle, strumming, flatpicking, recording, and live work.

Taylor’s scalloped V-Class bracing with Relief Rout gives this build a responsive feel with strong sustain and clarity across the fingerboard. The beveled cutaway and beveled neo-tropical mahogany armrest add practical comfort, while the 25.5" scale length and 1 3/4" nut width give it a familiar, spacious playing feel.

The hard rock maple neck has a Standard Carve profile and satin finish, paired with a West African Crelicam ebony fingerboard and Hard Rock Maple Early 900 Series inlays. Additional custom details include a maple single-ring rosette, ebony backstrap, antique chrome Gotoh 510 tuners, Taylor Claria electronics, and a Brown Taylor Deluxe Hardshell Case.
