This Taylor Custom Gold Label Grand Pacific was designed in collaboration with Taylor’s Custom Shop using woods personally hand-selected by Tone Shop Guitars. Built on the Grand Pacific platform but with a deeper body and a fully custom voicing package, this one delivers more headroom, more low-end authority, and a smoother, rounder response across the entire register. The combination of figured maple back and sides with a premium Sitka top results in a striking blend of clarity, depth, and projection — a modern take on the large-body acoustic with Taylor’s signature balance and refinement.

The Aged Toner top and Cherry Sunburst back, sides, and neck give the guitar an elevated vintage aesthetic without losing the clean, modern Gold Label identity. Fanned V-Class bracing pushes the guitar’s dynamic range even further, enhancing sustain, intonation, and responsiveness. Premium appointments like West African Crelicam ebony, Mission inlays, Gotoh 510 tuners, and a Firestripe pickguard round out the build, making this one of the most dialed-in Custom Shop acoustics we’ve spec’d to date with Taylor.
