Designed by master builder Andy Powers, this Grand Pacific model features a solid mahogany body paired with a torrefied Sitka spruce top, producing a warm, woody voice with exceptional midrange character, strong projection, and seasoned sweetness straight out of the case.

Part of Taylor’s Gold Label Collection, the 517e incorporates Andy Powers’ innovative Fanned V-Class® Bracing, which enhances volume and sustain while delivering greater warmth and resonance. The revolutionary Action Control Neck® design allows precise adjustments to string height through the soundhole—no neck removal required—making this one of the most player-friendly acoustic designs available today.

The Gold Label 517e’s heritage-inspired aesthetic includes a firestripe pickguard, cream “Crest” inlays, cream binding, and a glowing sunburst gloss finish that evokes classic Americana guitars of the past.
