Warm Audio Centavo Mod Series Overdrive Pedal

The Warm Audio Centavo Mod Series takes the company’s recreation of the original Klon Centaur circuit and repackages it in a substantially smaller, pedalboard-friendly enclosure. Unlike a redesign of the signal path, the Mod Series version retains the same circuit and parts as the full-size Centavo while reducing the footprint for easier integration into modern rigs.

The circuit is built with premium components including TL072 op amps, vintage-style diodes, carbon and metal film resistors, and a charge-pump voltage regulator. This component selection supports the Centavo’s faithful approach to the original Centaur architecture rather than introducing circuit changes for the smaller format.

Gain, Treble and Output controls provide the familiar three-knob layout, making the Centavo Mod suitable for everything from low-gain boosting to more pronounced overdrive. The compact format retains the functionality of the original Warm Audio Centavo while taking up considerably less pedalboard space.

A custom-cast gold enclosure preserves the visual identity of the Centavo in its reduced dimensions, complete with accurately tapered oxblood control knobs. Top-mounted connections further help minimize the amount of pedalboard space required for cabling.
