Inspired by 12-fret Stella guitars from the 1930s, the Waterloo WL-S is built around a compact, lightly constructed ladder-braced design with a distinctively old-school feel and response.

A solid spruce top pairs with solid cherry back and sides, while the 12-fret neck joint and 24 7/8" scale length give the guitar a softer attack and relaxed playing feel. Vintage-inspired ladder bracing keeps the build lively and direct, with strong note separation and the dry, immediate character associated with early American acoustic guitars.

The solid mahogany neck features Waterloo’s vintage-correct Soft V profile, an adjustable truss rod, and a slotted headstock. An Indian rosewood fingerboard, 1-3/4" bone nut, and 12" radius complete the neck setup.

The WL-S is finished in Vintage Iced Tea Sunburst with semi-gloss nitrocellulose lacquer and paired with an ebony pyramid bridge, bone cutthrough saddle, Golden Age Restoration tuners, and ivoroid binding around the top and soundhole.

A TKL hardshell case is included.
