Overview

The Yamaha Revstar RS02CB Chris Buck Signature takes the Revstar platform in a focused direction built around Chris Buck’s preferred feel and P-90 voice. Its chambered mahogany body is capped with maple and finished in Honey Gold, while the set-in three-piece mahogany neck features carbon reinforcement, a rosewood fingerboard, and 22 jumbo stainless steel frets.

A pair of custom Yamaha VP5 P-90-style single-coils uses Alnico III magnets, with straightforward master volume, master tone, and three-way switching. A TonePros AVT2 wraparound bridge keeps the hardware equally direct, while the 24-3/4" scale length, 12" fingerboard radius, and satin-finished neck provide a comfortable foundation for everything from expressive lead work to dynamic rhythm playing.
