New from Epiphone
The Epiphone Prophecy Lineup
Five models built for heavy players, in stock in Addison now.
Epiphone launched the new Prophecy lineup this week, and all five models are in stock at Tone Shop Guitars in Addison: the Victory FR, Les Paul Baritone, Les Paul, SG and Flying V. Southlake and Fort Worth are next.
This generation of Prophecy is a ground-up redesign. Fast necks, stainless steel frets and custom-voiced Fishman Fluence pickups run across all five shapes, each one set up for drop tunings and high gain without giving up clean and vintage-style sounds.

What Every Prophecy Shares
Start with the pickups. Every Prophecy carries a set of Fishman Fluence pickups voiced specifically for this lineup, and the push/pull controls switch between three voices: a modern high-output tone, a PAF-style humbucker sound, and a single-coil-style sound. A tight, high-gain rhythm part and a clean, articulate verse can come from the same guitar.
The necks are thermally aged one-piece maple with graphite reinforcement rods, carved to Epiphone's fast Hyperglide profile. Fretboards are bound ebony with a 10"-14" compound radius and 24 stainless steel frets. Every model has black nickel hardware, locking Grover tuners and a Graph Tech nut, all in satin finishes.
For every kind of heavy.

The Lineup
Same core, five different guitars. Here's what each one brings.
Prophecy Victory FR
The Victory FR is the only Prophecy with a locking tremolo. A Floyd Rose 1000 Series trem, an R3 locking nut and locking Grover Mini Rotomatics keep it in tune through heavy bar work. The mahogany Victory body wears a flamed maple veneer, and the multi-ply bound Explorer-style headstock carries a mother-of-pearl Epiphone logo.
- Scale: 25.5"
- Bridge: Floyd Rose 1000 Series locking tremolo
- Finishes: Obsidian Storm Satin, Aqua Smoke Satin
Prophecy Les Paul Baritone
A 27" scale Les Paul strung with .012-.060 strings and set up for baritone tunings like B to B. It reaches down toward bass territory while your chord shapes stay the same, with the tension and clarity a long scale brings. Ultra Modern weight relief, a Modern Contoured Heel and a rear belly carve keep it comfortable.
- Scale: 27"
- Strings: .012-.060
- Finish: Obsidian Storm Satin
Prophecy Les Paul
The classic Les Paul outline with a modern build. Weight-relieved mahogany with a maple cap and flamed maple veneer, a Modern Contoured Heel for the upper frets and a rear belly carve. The 25.5" scale adds tension for drop tunings, and the through-body tailpiece, inspired by Epiphone's Frequensator, helps balance string tension.
- Scale: 25.5"
- Bridge: LockTone Modern with through-body tailpiece
- Finishes: Forest Phantom Satin, Crimson Fog Satin, Obsidian Storm Satin
Prophecy SG
The SG Modern body pairs mahogany with a maple cap and a flamed maple veneer, with the double-cut shape and open upper frets SG players know. A 25.5" scale adds tension for lower tunings, and the multi-ply bound headstock carries a Custom split diamond inlay.
- Scale: 25.5"
- Top: Maple cap with flamed maple veneer
- Finishes: Crimson Fog Satin, Obsidian Storm Satin
Prophecy Flying V
A mahogany Flying V with a flamed maple veneer and multi-ply binding running around the body. Black mother-of-pearl block inlays and a Custom split diamond on the bound V headstock keep the look understated, and the 25.5" scale and LockTone Modern bridge are set up for drop tunings.
- Scale: 25.5"
- Body: Mahogany with flamed maple veneer and multi-ply binding
- Finishes: Orchid Bloom Satin, Obsidian Storm Satin
